The following Burbank Criminal Court information is provided as a courtesy by Burbank Criminal Attorney Gregory Caplan.
The Burbank Criminal Court is located at 300 East Olive Avenue in the city of Burbank, Ca 91502. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The Burbank Court is closed on the third Wednesday of each month, presently, because of budget cuts. The Burbank Criminal Court now includes four courtrooms, as of April, 2010. Division 1, the felony EDP (Early Disposition Proceedings) courtroom, is located on the first floor. Division 1 handles felony cases from the cities of Glendale and Burbank from arraignment through the preliminary hearing stage. Felony cases which move past this point are assigned to Pasadena Courthouse.
Division 2, on the second floor, is assigned approximately half of the misdemeanor Burbank city cases for arraignment and pretrial proceedings. Division 3, on the first floor, is assigned the remaining misdemeanor cases for arraignment through pretrial.
Department G, located on the first floor, handles long-cause matters from Division 1 and 2.
